Accessibility Statement
Last updated: July 9, 2026
The Indian Startup is committed to making our learning platform usable by as many people as possible, including people who use assistive technologies. We aim to conform to WCAG 2.1 AA and design with a keyboard-first, low-friction experience.
1. What we support
- Semantic page structure and meaningful headings
- Full keyboard navigation for primary flows
- Visible focus indicators and logical tab order
- Form labels, helper text, and accessible error states
- Reduced-motion support where animation is present
- Color contrast checks for text, buttons, and interactive states
- Screen-reader-friendly labels for key actions and navigation
2. Supported assistive technology
The platform is intended to work with modern screen readers, browser zoom, high contrast modes, and keyboard-only browsing. If you encounter a component that loses focus, traps focus incorrectly, or announces content poorly, please tell us.
3. Known limitations
We continuously improve accessibility, but some third-party embeds, legacy assets, or user-uploaded materials may not be fully accessible yet. When that happens, we will try to provide an alternate format or a text equivalent on request.
4. Request help or report an issue
Please email support@theindianstartup.in if you need an accessible alternative, want to report a barrier, or need help using the site with assistive technology.
- Include the page URL and a short description of the problem
- Tell us which device, browser, or assistive technology you are using
- We will treat accessibility requests as support-priority issues
