Anti-Abuse Policy

Last updated: July 9, 2026

This policy explains what we consider abusive behavior and how we protect the platform, creators, and learners from fraud, spam, and unauthorized access.

1. Prohibited behavior

  • Credential stuffing, brute force login attempts, or account takeover
  • Bypassing paywalls, session checks, or signed download links
  • Scraping, mirroring, or bulk exporting protected course content
  • Refund abuse, chargeback abuse, or repeated payment fraud
  • Spamming forms, comments, support channels, or community spaces
  • Uploading malware, phishing material, or infringing assets
  • Trying to evade rate limits, moderation, or access restrictions

2. Enforcement actions

Depending on severity, we may throttle requests, challenge suspicious activity, revoke access, suspend accounts, withhold entitlements, reverse refunds, or escalate matters for legal review.

3. How we detect abuse

  • Rate-limit and authentication logs
  • Suspicious payment and webhook signals
  • Unusual download or session patterns
  • Device, IP, and geolocation risk signals where permitted
  • Manual review of repeated support or refund misuse

4. Reporting abuse

If you spot abuse, please email support@theindianstartup.in with a short description, affected URLs, and any screenshots or logs that help us investigate.
